Wish you all a very Happy New Year!!

It's time to exchange Christmas and new year wishes with love and cheerful joy but most importantly it's time to sit back and retrospect everything attached with you and this soon gonna be yesteryear, remember all the deeds, misdeeds and experiences, make suitable lessons out of everything and keep those in the most secret but active vault as that will definitely make the coming year better of passing one. Cherish it and let the past go and allow the fading moonlight to sublimate every dust particle on your mind or body and get ready to welcome a beautiful dawn with new vigor and confidence. Have a resolution that you'll never flinch in accepting anything better or abandoning anything worse.

Going little off the topic, I wish to mention about the discussion i had with my close friend over "the extent to which fate, karma and extras hold the grip upon anything or everything happening in life". Here extras are just the blessings of elders or wellwishers, in a way it's the transfer of fruits to your account though reaped through their karma and fate. Before you oppugn the presence of any of those three, try to answer few questions in mind.

Is there any way to ponder over others' sorrows in the most ecstatic moments or feel light while facing never-ending visitations only by catching someone's eye glowing with joy or to abate the trials and tribulations anyone has to confront or to siphon the fortune of good times to tough periods or to change the course of fate with sheer grit and perseverance or to herald the occurence of an event with infallible certainty. To my cognition, the answer is negative for everything asked above as it's difficult to feel or change only at will due to extreme but impalpable randomness scattered all around with every little footstep having so many dependencies.

The analogy I came up with to get my thinking across was like that every event is a kind of race where fate is nothing but a headstart presented to us according to our previous births' unrealized acts and remember this headstart can be negative as well. Now to accomplish or to win the race, we need to do karma which is running as fast as possible and touching the finishline. In a race there can be multiple external factors like wind speed, pebbles buttressing or countermining our dream run. These factors are extras and a part of fate which we carry all through the way. I believe there is no one who gets the chance to start from finishline which means even the luckiest person on earth has to open his eyes to see the beauty around. In a similar fashion, there is no one who is forced to stand so behind that he cant cover the negative headstart through his efforts. Have faith always in yourself as you are the master of your destiny and the writing of fate is never made with indelible ink. We are not inanimate objects or machines or mindless souls who are always directed by some external push, we are someone well equipped to endure these pushes and define our path and that control is nothing but our mind.

Words and thoughts are powerful, so better mean it whenever you speak, write or feel them. A beautiful thought can change your day or even your life so better arrange your thoughts and words carefully. In the end, here is my coiffured wish for all of you on this joyous occasion -

May God bestows upon you a new passion to stretch your limits a step further to recognize and achieve the cause you are here for.
